Are all vibrations good?
Well, this question could truly be more about if "good" even exists at all, but I will spare everyone.... Vibrations run the entire spectrum of possibility, further than we even know how to measure. There are destructive vibrations, such as the resonant vibration of the Nimitz freeway causing it to collapse in the 89 earthquake. There are painful vibrations, such as the technology used for sonic crowd control. There are also just the plain old "bad vibes" associated with someone in a negative head space. So no, not all vibrations are "good".
Resonance in my world
When I first learned that heart strings actually exist anatomically, I was beside myself. The quality feeling of resonance is when I can feel those little strings just humming away. It is interesting to me how everyone resonates with different things, and differently at different times. It is so profound how our changing inner state is so impactful on how we "vibe" with things around us. When something resonates with me, it just feels right. No amount of trying to think something can make it the perfect fit. Resonance occurs with all sorts of things, colors, textures, music, pictures. It is so neat to me that we perceive what we resonate with thru our sensory organs. These organs are designed to pick up vibrations in different ways, kinesthetically, tactilly, thru light, sound and taste. It brings me back to constitutional types in Chinese medicine and all of the correspondences. Perhaps there is a more refined understanding of vibrations and resonance at the center of our medicine....
Energy and Qi.
Everyone is familiar with the formula e=mc2. Energy is matter going really really fast. Qi is an idea that encompasses this entire spectrum, from matter to energy. The evaporation and condensation of water is a great metaphor for how Qi is able to change state.
